High-Level Talks On-the-Record Japan and India enjoy a Special Strategic and Global Partnership, involving cooperation on a wide range of issues. The two countries are also working within the Quad with the United States and Australia, and normalised their security partnership through the 2+2 dialogue, bilateral security training, and Acquisitions and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA). Trade between the two countries has grown, as has direct investment from Japan to India and coordination in third countries.
