Now, at first, that may not be well received. But given the comfortable environment that I’m sure you will want to create in your offices, maybe you will have an opportunity to diagnose some individuals with cannabis use disorder. Unfortunately, with the legalization of cannabis in many states, there is a misunderstanding about the safety of cannabis in certain situations, specifically in young people between the ages of 15 and 30. There is often a situation where cannabis is overused, where THC doses close to 20 or 30 milligrams are taken all at once, in the form of inhalation, concentrates that back in the day, were limited to hashish, now come in many different forms. And patients are dabbing, they’re using devices called, rigs. There’s a whole language that goes along with high dose cannabis inhalation. And if you have the opportunity to draw some information out of a young person that you think might be important to diagnose cannabis use disorder, please familiarize yourself with some of this nomenclature.
