Have you ever wondered how a street got its name? London is full of interesting and colourful street names, from Pissing Alley to Paradise Walk, but most London street names come under one of four categories: Descriptive, possessive, topical, or advertising. Within these are a number of subcategories which account for all the weird and wonderful names London has to offer.
