What do a Saturday morning 5k, a bike ride across Northamptonshire, and the first voice ever carried across the Atlantic have in common? Today we’re at Daventry parkrun — but this isn’t just a running story. Jst a few miles from here, voices once travelled around the world from some of the most powerful radio transmitters ever built. And on the ride back to Rugby station, we’re stopping at Houlton — the site of the very first transatlantic telephone transmission. (and a really nice cafe!)
