Ballin’ on a Budget Series: Video One
This will be the first video of gameplay from the Ballin' on a Budget Series. The matches shown are hand selected replays from the tournament practice queue to showcase the viability of a budget list in Modern. From my testing the budget list performs great against Shadow, Control, Jund/Rock, and Combo, but generally struggles against things such as Tron and Amulet as not having access to cards like Force of Negation, Fetchlands, Blood Moon and Snapcaster Mage make the matchups difficult for our archetype even more difficult. The matchups showcased in this video are Esper Control, The Rock, Hardened Scales and Storm. Please bear with me as about halfway through production I stopped caring about making narration mistakes and just went with it, instead of re-recording the segment.
