There’s something special about discovering places most people have forgotten. In this episode, Luna and I head deep into California’s Eastern Sierra backcountry to explore a string of old mining camps and ghost towns — a rugged 150-mile route filled with history, challenge, and incredible scenery. The journey begins just north of Bridgeport and winds through the remnants of the state’s gold-rush era — sites like Success Mine, Chemung Mine, Serita Mine, Masonic Camp, Pittsburg Mine, Belfort, Mt. Patterson Peak, Stone Cabin, and Pine Grove Ghost Town. Along the way, we climb above 11,000 feet, crawl over rocky trails, and take in some of the most stunning views anywhere in California. This is the kind of trip that reminds me why I love off-road adventure — exploring remote places, uncovering forgotten stories, and spending quiet nights under the stars. *********************************************** 🌎 Download this Rugged Adventure Route: https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/trips... ⭐️ Get 20% off onX Off-Road: https://bit.ly/onxtrailrecon20 *********************************************** 🌐 TRAILRECON.COM https://bit.ly/trailreconstore Check out our website if you’re looking for off-road or overland gear and equipment for your rig and off-the-grid adventures.
