Beef Pulao Recipe: Ingredients: • Beef / Mutton – 1 kilo Grams • Pyaz (onions) - 4-5 medium Size (Sliced) • Tamate (Tomato) - 8-10 Pcs (Sliced) • Basmati Rice - 1 kg (5 cups) • Cooking Oil - 6 tablespoon • Adrak- Laison (Ginger Garlic) Paste – 2 Tablespoons • Haldi (Turmeric) Powder - (1/2) Half Tsp • Namak (Salt) - 1 Tablespoon (According to Taste) • kuti Lal Mirchi (Red Chilli flakes) Powder - 1 Tablespoon • Dhaniyah Powder - 2 Teaspoons • Garam Masala Powder - 2 Teaspoons • Kali Mirchi Powder - 2 Teaspoons • Hari Mirchi (Green Chilies) – 4-6 Pcs • Pani (Water) - 1200 ml Procedure: o In a Pressure Cooker add oil o When Oil becomes hot, add onions and saute till it becomes golden brown o Once the onions become golden brown, take little portion of it in a separate plate, which will be used for garnishing. o Now add Adrak- Laison (Ginger Garlic) paste and saute it until its raw smell vanishes. o Now add sliced Tamate (Tomato), Haldi (Turmeric) Powder, Namak (Salt), Lal Mirchi (Red Chilli) Powder Dhaniya Powder and mix well and leave it to cook it on medium flame until tomatoes become tender soft and the oil starts appearing above it. o Now add washed and soaked beef and mix it well and cook it until beef color changes. o When the oil separates, add water and let it take one boil and mix properly, close the pressure cooker lid and keep it on medium flame to take 5-6 whistles or until beef gets tender. o Meanwhile wash the rice and keep it aside to soak in washed water. o Now open the pressure cooker lid (when its pressure is all gone), mix it. o Now transfer the cooked beef in a big cooking vessel and add water, sliced Hari Mirchi (Green Chilli), Kali Mirchi (Black Pepper) powder, Garam Masala Powder and mix it well and cook it until it takes one boil. o Now add soaked rice in it and mix it gently and cook it on medium high flame until the water in it dries. o At regular intervals mix it gently. o Once the rice is cooked and almost 90% of water is dried, then close the lid and cover it with a cotton cloth or aluminum foil and cook it on medium low flame until steam starts escaping from vessel lid. o Now close the flame. o That’s it friends Beef Pulao is ready. o Now dish out beef pulao and garnish it with fired golden brown onions and coriander leaves and serve it with dahi ka raita or salan.
