Find out more about the RME M-1610 Pro at; https://www.synthax.co.uk/rme/convert... At the Winter NAMM Show 2020, RME built on their reputation as the Masters of Networking by unveiling three all-new audio networking devices – the 12Mic, AVB Tool and M-1610 Pro. Featuring outstanding performance, reliability and functionality, these new products represent the next generation in audio network technologies. We caught up with RME’s developer Marc Schettke for a rundown of the all-new M-1610 Pro, RME’s 16 channel reference-class AD/DA converter. At the request of recording engineers using a variety of analog effects and instruments in their sessions, RME have combined the outstanding performance of the M-32 Pro AD and DA converters into a single device, and at an unbeatable price-point. With its coaxial and (optional) optical MADI, redundant AVB, four ADAT optical outputs, and redundant DC coupled outputs, the device represents one of the most versatile and highest-performing converters on the market. The M-1610 Pro follows the IEEE standards for AVB, allowing for RME devices to be both discovered and fully controlled by any AVB controller. This makes vendor-specific control protocols a thing of the past. As well as the networking capabilities that AVB brings, the M-1610 Pro also has a multitude of other connectivity options. Both TRS and D-Sub input and output connections are available on the M-1610 Pro, as well as both coaxial and (optional via an SFP module) optical MADI I/O. Finally, four ADAT outputs offer the flexibility to route many different signal combinations. Subscribe to our Channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/synthaxtv...
