Pompe n' Honey

I first saw Pompe n’ Honey a year or so ago and I’m happy to finally be able to include them on my You Tube page and bring their music to more people. Not only excellent musicianship, but they mix a variety of styles and genres that make for a great musical experience every time. Swing, country (whose country?), country swing, tender ballads, gypsy jazz, I think I even remember them doing some Klezmer tunes. They can do it all. Their vocals harmonies are great and if you like great vocalists, you’d be hard pressed to find a better voice than Melissa Chilinski’s. This recording is from June 3, 2024 at the first 2024 summer concert of the Millcreek Concert Series at Canyon Rim Park. Unfortunately, my camera quit about the 1:40 mark. I had plenty of battery left and plenty of disk space, so it’s an inexplicable sad mystery. But I hope what I have is enough to get you to spread the word about these fine musicians and get out to one of their performances! It was so uplifting to attend as this collective of musicians came together in February to support a local musician with mounting medical expenses.
