I would have to admit, this is the challenge in our mind for this battle day. We have done a Trio with Dynamax Shuckle first just in case we failed this. Honestly, the thumbnails has already told all. This is a Duo Battle against Gigantamax Snorlax without using Max Mushroom. To compensate that, we need both Cloudy weather boost and Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect. We always wanted to talk about that Adventure Effect, even though it might not have much use outside of these kind of shortmanning challenge. Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect elevate all Max Moves Levels by 1, including Max Guard and Max Spirit. Lv4 Max Moves has 450 base power, equivalent to Lv3 G-Max Moves, where Lv4 G-Max Moves has 550 base power. Lv4 Max Guard would now grant user a shield with 80 HP, and Lv4 Max Spirit would heal user and its allies by 20% of its Max HP. Most importantly, Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect does not affect Behemoth Blade, Behemoth Bash, Guard and Spirit. Since Crowned Shield Zamazenta release, we have been using them to beat up a lot different Max Battle Bosses. With its excellent typing, extra perk on Guard, and Behemoth Bash, it was the staple against nearly every boss. However, with its Guard does not affected by Dynamax Cannon, it would now face competition on longevity under this Adventure Effect. With extra 20 HP per Max Guard, there are now tanks which can catch up Crowned Shield Zamazenta. This time, we will show how Dynamax Cannon can affect team building. With Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect, Dynamax Lugia is now one of the best tank against Gigantamax Snorlax. Compared to Dynamax Shuckle, Superpower's longer cooldown allows Crowned Sword Zacian outrace Gigantamax Snorlax from time to time, giving Dynamax Lugia an edge despite it takes more damage from a single hit. Of course, the problem is Dynamax Lugia lacking a 0.5s fast move. There is no real workaround on this except keep on sending Dynamax Lugia in and out when Gigantamax Snorlax is using Superpower, just like how Dynamax Shuckle handled Skull Bash. Both Outrage and Superpower deals only a single digit of damage to Crowned Sword Zacian and Dynamax Lugia before Gigantamax Snorlax got stronger, so we would let Crowned Sword Zacian to use Behemoth Blade for extra damages. However, once Gigantamax Snorlax got stronger, it is better to focus on charging up Max Meter. Since taking an additional hits severely hurts the amount of Dynamax Cannon buffed G-Max Chi Strike we would be able to use. At last, once again, we would use Spirit on tank. This part has been shown in previous Duo Battle as well. Once the boss get stronger, we want to maximize the HP of our tank to keep it survive through those strong hits. Spirit comes in handy here to allow us survive through less favorable boss pattern.
