On July 18, 2020, the famous Japanese actor Haruma Miura was found dead in his home. Although investigations are still under way and nothing has been confirmed yet, the police found a suicide note that has lead them to suspect his death as a suicide. His death sent shock waves through Japan, where around 20,000 people were reported to have taken their own lives in 2019.  So how do the people of Japan feel about this particular incident and the issue of mental health in general?
