Taylor Doherty 21 shot out the window of a innocent students home in the hunt for his ex who had moved on, in a four day crime spree he burgled houses and rammed police cars and gunbutted a mother to steal her vehicle. He was eventually arrested after a police chase and pled guilty at Warwick Crown Court On September 21 2020 , in breach of a non-molestation order, Doherty phoned his ex-partner demanding to know where she was, threatening: “When I find you I’m going to put a knife through your face and a gun to your neck.” He then turned up outside her home in the city and smashed a window, telling a neighbour who saw him: “I’m going to smash her head in.” Later that night residents in Henley Green called the police to report a man on a bicycle, Doherty, firing a gun outside a flat as he shouted at the occupant to come out. Mr Burch said Doherty had threatened his ex that he would go to all of her family’s addresses until he found her – and the flat was occupied by her brother’s girlfriend.
