京都府宇治市にある世界遺産の「宇治平等院」へ行ってきました。35名の仲間と一緒に事前研修をしてからの訪れだったので見どころを逃さず見ることを目標に訪れました。国宝の鳳凰堂（国宝）に安置されている阿弥陀如来像（国宝）をはじめ、数々の重要文化財を拝観、空を見上げると鳳凰堂の上に鳳凰像（国宝）、浄土式庭園の水面に映る左右対称の鳳凰堂の美しさ、その対岸からは鳳凰堂の中の阿弥陀如来像・・・極楽浄土の再現に込められた心情がしのばれます。鳳凰堂は入場後に庭園内の内部拝観受付で「時間券」（300円）を求める必要があります。 #国宝 #重要文化財 #平等院 #鳳凰堂 I visited Uji Byodo-in Temple, a World Heritage Site in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. My group of 35 friends and I had a pre-trip training session, so we aimed to see all the highlights. We visited numerous Important Cultural Properties, including the Amida Buddha statue (National Treasure) enshrined in the Phoenix Hall (National Treasure). Looking up, we saw the Phoenix statue (National Treasure) atop the Phoenix Hall, the beautiful symmetry of the Phoenix Hall reflected on the water in the garden, and the Amida Buddha statue inside the Phoenix Hall from the opposite bank... The sentiment behind the recreation of the Pure Land is palpable. After entering the Phoenix Hall, you need to purchase a "timed ticket" (300 yen) at the reception desk inside the garden.
