Hike to the HIDDEN Waterfall in the Northern Pennines!

We’re back out in the wild! Today we're heading deep into the North Pennines to find the stunning Ashgill Falls. It’s a proper winter’s day out here—snowing, windy, and exactly how I love it. Living the dream! I’m also putting some new gear to the test on this hike. I’m filming the whole adventure on the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 in 4K 30fps, using the new Explorer grip and an ultra-wide lens. This route follows a beautiful river walk toward the River Tyne, passing a series of smaller waterfalls along the way. It’s a photographer's dream and would be an amazing spot for wild swimming in the summer. While the walk is fairly easy and great for kids, it was a bit sketchy and slippy underfoot with all the ice and mud today! Huge thanks to The Backpacking Geordie for the recommendation on this spot!
