WARNING this video contains major spoilers for the Dark Urge origin for Baldur's Gate 3. All edits are purely visual, with no audio or dialogue changes. This was not a mod---I had to record multiple instances of the scene and stitch it all together in post. --------------------------------------- Backstory: My Durge character Cansu (he/him, bard) has had frequent changes to his appearance throughout the story, both from the Illithid infection, and from having a body that's sensitive to planear energies. So I've made a lot of tweaks to his design to showcase these evolutions. I got excited when originally watching this cutscene, and was surprised to see that the devs didn't account for Orin mimicking a Durge who had become half-illithid. Seemed that the infection didn't carry over to her disguise. Seeing this, I got inspired to made an edit showcasing the bloodkin she remembered betraying, further mocking him for how changed and trapped he's become under the threat of the Absolute. What was once his grand scheme, now, he was merely Patient Zero.
