Also, I'm spelling it coloring for the search results, as a Canadian, I actually normally spell it Digital colouring. But, ya know, my largest audience is in the states, so I'm going to spell it Color in this description. Anyway, this video is a full breakdown of my process for coloring comic book and cartoon style images. I go through my flatting with gradients, shadowing with a dark colored brush, then lighting with the lasso tool and a soft edged brush. I am doing this coloring in the software I always use, Autodesk Sketchbook pro, but you can follow along in any drawing software like Photoshop or Krita or procreate or whatever! They all have generally the same features and your results are more about your work than the software you're using. Anyway, two of the inks available to download are drawings of Juggernaut vs the spider-man clone, Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider. I admittedly just wanted to do some kind of alternate spiderman drawing. I was going to have him fighting the Rhino, but thought, naw, let's go with a different big bulky spiderman villain! I mean, he's more an X-Men villain, but whatever!
