Whereas the original movie Alien was Sci-fi horror gold, its sequel was an action-centric film following a contingent of Marines as they encountered the xenomorph. What made the movie so iconic was its adherence to the element of horror that was established in its prequel. Though the Marines were armed to the teeth, horror was still the central thread that wove the narrative together. I listened to several of the early reviews for Alien Rogue Incursion, and a common complaint was that xenomorphs became more of a nuisance then a deadly threat. My guess, they probably played on a lower difficulty, because this game is relentless on "Insane."
