As mum and dad, our birthdays fall nicely in the same month - so we decided to take a family trip to Center Parcs in Whinfell Forest, Lake district. We went for 4 days in March which felt perfect for our needs. Join us for Episode 1 covering our first couple of days. ============================= Our cabin was great, but we'd recommend picking one yourself and paying extra. Ours didn't feel as private as we'd have liked! If you're taking small ones, pay attention to the minimum age as we were quite limited on what we could book. Nevertheless, it's a lovely and quiet retreat for the whole family. Make sure to book bikes early if you aren't bringing your own, otherwise expect a lot of walking back and forth to the centre!
