As previously mentioned, Type-C is notorious for its balances issues and how it affect the game difficulty as a whole, being increased bullet speed and revenge bullets, you have a slower movement speed, lacking weapons/gauge that Type-S normally has, and a low DPS rate, which becomes a problem when trying to speedkill certain bosses (atleast in PDM) However, it also adds some additions exclusively to the shot type itself, such as: In Pandemonium, your discharge ability to destroy bullets has been significantly nerfed during bosses to make each fight more challenging. However after reaching Core Unit, it doesn't work anymore. Your discharge works fine until you entered Vier final, and at that point your discharge no longer does any damage to her, acting as a debuff. Do keep this in mind, this affect ALL difficulty in the game and not just Pandemonium. Despite advertising itself as a simpler and less complex type to learn (4 buttons) why the game has so little players bother to try clearing the game on R-EX with this thing has to do with the fact above, driving away many players due to it being severe more painful to play and generally underpowered compared to Type-S. However, if you do tap into its potential, you'll find some enjoyment to it and workaround with its limitation. Hopefully this will be useful for anyone looking into routing Pandemonium (or on a lower difficulty) and get a clear using this shot type.
