This is film footage I took at the world meet in Kössen, Austria, on Saturday Sept 11 1976, the last day of competition. It was the first world championship conducted under FAI rules and sponsorship. The winners were: Class 1 (standard) Cristian Steinbach, Austria Class 2 (flex wing) Terry Delore, New Zealand Class 3 (open) Ken Battle, Australia If you recognize any of the competitors in these clips, please add a comment!
