The time has come for the new World Handicap System (WHS) to be put into practice. Although originally launched in January 2020 in many countries, the new WHS will be in place for golfers in GB&I from November 2nd 2020. In the build up to this date, there have been a lot of rumours circulating about why these governing bodies have decided to adopt a new World Handicap System, what it will entail, how it will work, and most of all how it will affect golfers' handicaps.
