CONGRATS ON 10K MEL!! This is gonna be another long description so brace yourselves. FINALLY. This video has been SO LONG in the making. Sure, I've started videos and then finished them 2 years later before, but this was something else entirely. Since last August, I have put aside time to work on this video AT LEAST twice a month, but usually more than that. Originally I wanted to have most of it done before the TW finale (in SEPTEMBER) so that I could add a few scenes here and there & then post it when the show ended. But then that didn’t work out. Then I wanted to get it done at least a week after the last episode aired to capitalize on the Stydia buzz but alas I failed myself again. I kept setting deadlines that I never met, but at least it is done now. There is SO MUCH to say about this video. 1. Stydia is basically the reason why I upgraded to a new computer. I was watching so many videos of them (before I even watched the show) after 6x10 & I kept thinking: “THOSE VIDEOS ARE SO GOOD! I WANNA MAKE ONE!”. & now I’ve gotten myself a new PC more equipped to handle cool effects & larger files yet I still can’t edit for shit lol. 2. I’ve managed to procrastinate watching this show. I’m still only on season 5. Don’t ask me why; I don’t understand me. 3. Even though I love this couple, seeing how long this video took me really makes me wonder if I can even stand to edit them again. All in the process of editing this, I downloaded better quality TW episodes but now I’ll never get to edit with them :( 4. I LOVE some of this, but then some parts are also crap. I gave up at two different parts in this video. 1:23 - 1:37 is A MESS & let’s not even talk about 2:52 - 3:02. Sorry for the super loud voiceover at that part btw. I couldn’t bring myself to render this for a 3rd time. DEDICATIONS!! 1. First, to BEN AND CHLOE. Thanks for pretending to be excited the 8 times I showed you my progress on this video Also, thanks for being subjected to watching 1:58 - 2:02 literally 100 times. I told you I’d give you a shoutout when it was done so I am!! You’ll probably never see this but at least I kept my promise. PS: thanks for letting me play my “Liked Videos” playlist at our sleepover. Sorry that it was mostly just TW fanvids. 2. Scott thanks for building me my new PC & for watching the clips of this video that I would send you. & of course for being my bestie. 3. But most of all...MEL!!!! I seriously could not have finished this video if it weren’t for you. I’ve been feeling all down in the dumps about how I never really mastered Sony Vegas, and now everyone is moving on to AE (I’m so not with the times), but you’ve really shown me just how cool editing with SV still is! Also, you love Stydia which is awesome. I have been obsessed with your Insta & I read all of your posts and watch all of your edits (I miss the archived ones btw haha). You are so talented - especially for someone so young!! When I was 17 I could not edit like you - I can’t edit like you NOW lol. Congrats on your 10k!! Seriously though every time I felt like giving up on editing this I would either watch one of your recent YT vids (I am a HUGE fan of The Night We Met one) or I’d go to your edits tab on Twitter. I’m such a stalker - I’ve found your accounts everywhere lol. You’ve really improved over the years. I remember watching your old Auslly videos :) There is so much more that I could say, but I’ll leave it there at the risk of sounding creepy :P Basically, even though you had no idea, you really helped me make this video.
