Anahita was born in 1983 in Iran. She was living in Iran with her family. She is originally from Mazar-e-Sharif city. When afghan Star’s season 9 started in 2013, Anahita traveled to Afghanistan to participate. She was selected among hundreds of people who came to audition for singing. Anahita Ulfat started her music journey by auditioning for Afghan Star singing, famous talent show in Afghanistan. She earned 6th place in Afghan Star. After being eliminated from afghan star she continued her music journey and released many songs. One of her famous songs is Aleijo, which became instantly famous among her fans. In the past couple years, Anahita has moved to America, and she started a new life for herself. Anahita has started learning professional dancing. She released some videos on her Facebook page, showing her dance moves. A lot of people do not agree with the way she dresses and dances. People claim that Anahita has left islam and she has become a Christian. A photo Anahita posted confirmed these allegations. In this photo she is wearing a cross on her neck. This is a symbol of christianity. Anahita said her favourite singer is Elaha Soroud. And she was her role model before joining Afghan star. Besides being a dancer and singer, Anahita is an athlete as well. She enjoy training and performing gymnastic moves. Anahita says her style of clothing is very different from other girls. She does not like floral dresses. She loves to wear simple clothes. Anahita said, she often mixes traditional clothes with western clothes to create a unique style. In one of her videos Anahita Ulfat said she is not against porn makers as she said that is their way of making a living. And they should not be judged for such actions. Also, people has shown negative reaction to the words she uses in her videos. some people say they prefer the pervious Anahita over the person she has become now.
