Socratic Spotlight: Diego Gunter, Entrepreneur and Current TSE 11th Grader

Joining us this week on Socratic Spotlight is Diego Gunter, 11th grader at The Socratic Experience, just beginning his second year with us! Diego was once the only student in his public school auto shop class who admitted to being there because he wanted to learn. When he saw how defeated everyone there was, he chose to leave. He joined TSE, and has been flourishing ever since, building an education that works for him. TSE reignited Diego’s passion for learning, pushing him to explore topics he never imagined. Taking the initiative to visit Prospera in Honduras, Diego talked his way into an internship with the architect, and TSE was able to give him a semester of high school credit for the internship while he cut his teeth on new software systems and picked up real-world skills.
