Epic Battle in Falmouth! Luke Takes on the First UK Tuna Catch & Release Championship!

Absolutely exhausted after an amazing weekend in Falmouth! 🎣 Luke Mckell took part in the first-ever catch-and-release Bluefin Tuna Tournament held in the UK, and I was lucky enough to be on board to witness the whole event firsthand. What an incredible buzz – the competitors were amazing and so friendly, and the organizers put on a fabulous event in such a brilliant location. A huge thank you to our amazing skipper, Dave from Wetwheels South West, for making it all possible! Well done to all the sponsors who supported the event – I know there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make something like this happen. I’m sure this event will build on the success of this one! Big game fishing in the UK is truly something special. We had two tuna to the boat and finished in 6th place, but honestly, just being part of history was incredible. The wildlife was in abundance – whales, dolphins, and watching tuna explode out of the water was something truly spectacular.
