When GitHub chose to establish their first physical workplace location for the northwest GitHub community, they entrusted IA Interior Architects to bring their vision to life. As a company with a 60% remote workforce, it was important for the design to be divided evenly between community spaces and workplace. A wide selection of environments were integrated to allow groups and individuals to choose the type of environments that best suit their needs while fostering company culture among all employees. Organic and biophilic expressions woven throughout the workplace create a calming, sustainable and inclusive work ecosystem where remote and in-office workers can create and innovate together.
