Well that was a disappointing Winter… Meteorological Winter runs from the 1st of December through the last day of February (as opposed to Astronomical Winter which ends on the 20th of March). This Winter was extremely warm and as a result, our snowfall was not just record-breaking, it was downright pitiful. So let’s dive into the numbers to see how this Winter stacks up. It’s no secret that this Winter was warm, but it was record-shattering warmth. In a typical Winter season, our average daytime high is 40.6 degrees with an average overnight low of 24.4 degrees.
