Family's Life-Changing Foundation Helps Kids With Epilepsy Afford Protective Helmets

Brothers Bryson and Brock created the Helmets4Helmets foundation to help children with epilepsy get the protective helmets they need. Bryson was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 3, suffering as many as 100 seizures a day. Doctors told mom Sarah and dad Aristotle it was necessary that he get a protective helmet, but their insurance wouldn't pay for it. The experience inspired the family to mail letters to major sports teams requesting signed memorabilia so they could raise funds at an auction to help other kids with epilepsy buy their own helmets. Mom Dakiti dials-in along with her son Colin who suffers from epilepsy, to express their gratitude to Helmets4Helmets for breaking the stigma of talking about epilepsy, and helping Colin get a helmet.
