Route 80 is now a loop and called the Riverhead Circulator which will now serve Calverton Hills Route 53 will now enter the Shoprite Selden Plaza Route 3 will run via Deer Park Ave and LIE Service Road But serious problems still remain. I recently rode the 5 from Pilgrim and the narrow road and blind corners on the road between there and Heartland are very dangerous. Since there's no other way between the two places, I would have the 5 follow the old S33 route out to Commack Road then down to Nichols, and have the 4 serve Heartland instead, especially since it passes right by on Pine Aire Drive. I would also have the 4 be rerouted down Second st through Brentwood and bypass the terrible left turn delay from Suffolk Ave onto Fifth. Other bus route serve that small areas of Suffolk Ave and passengers could either take a very short walk or do a transfer. The 4 needs to go into Tanger as well, and perhaps the 5 as well, the changes made actually CUT service here which is a BIG mistake. This is a very busy shopping center and people did wind up using the bus a lot here, having them walk to a bus stop across a busy road is completely unacceptable! Then there's the 3, which I think should serve even more of Deer Park Ave by using Vanderbilt Ave. And something still needs to be done about the transit desert around the new Walmart and commercial corridor at the NW intersection of William Floyd and the LIE.
