On Dec. 28th, 2021, one of the local places that supply fresh produce for the Winter Olympics, received a notice from the central government. The notice was leaked to overseas Chinese media. As the Winter Olympics approach, it’s evident that the CCP can’t fix the overall toxic food environment. Having made so much effort to provide safe food for the foreign athletes, it’s no wonder that the CCP gets upset when the international organizations are voicing their concerns, and touching its sensitive nerves.
