These films are based on this scientific theoretical concept. In such films, characters are shown entering parallel universes through doors and encountering other versions of themselves or their loved ones. However, in the real world, no technology exists to create such a door or portal that connects parallel universes or multiverses. I do not think that science will ever advance to the point where it can reach such distant parts of the universe. From an Islamic perspective, there are hints in the Quran that suggest this world is not the only one in which we live—there are other worlds as well.
