The women’s 100-meter final at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Lima delivered a gripping display of emerging sprint talent, bringing together some of the brightest young athletes from around the world. Eight competitors, all of whom had excelled in the earlier rounds, lined up for the much-anticipated showdown. Among them were Australia’s Alexandra Stoa, a 19-year-old with enormous upside, and Nigeria’s 17-year-old sensation Justina Tiana Eoan, who had clocked a personal best of 11.24 seconds.
