Route: Take NH44 towards Salem, then NH544 passing through Coimbatore and Palakkad. We Thattekad Arrival: Reach Thattekad by early afternoon. Activities: Explore the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, known for its diverse bird species. Watching the beautiful sunset over the Periyar River. Stay: Our stay was at The Nest Resort a cozy resort near the sanctuary. Thattekad to Munnar Departure: Begin your journey to Munnar after breakfast the standard Appam with Egg Curry. Route: Drive through picturesque landscapes along NH85, passing by scenic tea gardens and rolling hills. Munnar Arrival: Reach Munnar by late afternoon. Activities: Visit the Tea Museum to learn about tea processing, stroll through lush tea plantations, and enjoy a tranquil evening in Munnar. Stay: Our stay was at Mannoor Farm Stay. Munnar to Bangalore Departure: Begin your journey early morning for Bangalore. Route: Take the same route via NH85 and NH544. Lunch Break: Stop at a recommended restaurant along the way for lunch.
