That being said I probably have (15-20) knives worth of handles out of this process. I currently pay between $30-50 dollars per handle material set or block. So if I take the low end of (15) and divide the total cost by that material the end result is: $35.76 per piece. Keep in mind although I will be purchasing more epoxy or cactus juice for future batches, but I will not have the future costs of all of the tools (oven, vacuum set, pots). That will most likely mean out of this purchase I will be getting my cost per handle material down to 1/2 (half) or less the price of purchase.
