Matru–Pitru Vandana Diwas Celebration | Parents’ Blessings Day at Sunrise English Medium School

On 14th Feb, our school proudly celebrated Matru–Pitru Vandana Diwas, a beautiful day dedicated to honouring parents and strengthening the sacred bond between children and their mother and father. Parents of students from Nursery to Grade 8 were warmly invited to campus. In a touching traditional ceremony, students performed aarti, applied tilak, offered roses at their parents’ feet, and received blessings, reminding us all that respect begins at home. A special moment of the program was when parents lovingly promised to spend at least 30 minutes every day with their children. Because no app can replace attention, and no gadget beats genuine conversation. This celebration reflected our values: gratitude, family togetherness, and character building: the old-school way, and still the best way. Thank you to all parents, teachers, and students for making this event meaningful and memorable.
