The structure follows only the spacing of breath, drawing from a Japanese sense of ma — space and silence — similar to Noh and natural sound. After returning home, in a cold atelier, I approached sound while still carrying the physical afterimage of movement. In this work, the synthesizer forms the core, with the piano gently introduced to trace its flow. The sound does not advance forward. It layers, softens, and gradually fades as its contours dissolve.
