CONMED’s CrossFT anchor family offers solutions for both knot-tying and knotless repair. For knot-tying, the CrossFT suture anchors feature dual threads to maximize cortical and cancellous fixation. CrossFT is comprised of PEEK and GENESYS CrossFT, a biocomposite material. These fully threaded anchors are cannulated, which may channel growth factors to the healing tendon. Peer-reviewed literature has shown that the GENESYS CrossFT anchor has market-leading pullout strength of 688 Newtons. That’s 47% higher than similar anchors.1 GENESYS CrossFT anchors feature MicroTCP, our proprietary GENESYS biocomposite material that facilitates an even and uniform distribution of microparticles. This results in a strong biocomposite anchor that may enable proven bone in-growth. Now that’s a material advantage over other biocomposite anchors available today. CrossFT anchors can be used in the shoulder for rotator cuff, PASTA, and SCR repair, as well as in the ankle for achilles procedures. The CrossFT Knotless DT suture anchor features a deep thread pattern for strong cancellous bone fixation. Surgeons can control suture tension with the telescoping cleat that maintains constant tension during insertion, designed to reduce the risk of over-tensioning the repair.
