Finding time to volunteer can be a stretch for most people. But for one Darwin doctor, volunteering around shift work, has become a way of life. Dr Felix Ho was named the 2026 Australian of the Year for the Northern Territory. The paramedic-turned-doctor gives up thousands of hours of his spare time each year to help mentor young people. He arrived in Australia from Hong Kong as a young boy and credits his life growing up in Perth for instilling in him a drive to give back. He spoke to Eleni Roussos for Stateline Northern Territory.
