Start the Vassal programme. File - Open - Star_wars_x_wing_miniatures_game-etcetcetc. Start a new game online or offline. Do not untick the box that says 'Show Wizard at startup' Active games window shows you what games are going on and who is in which lobby. You can join a room by double clicking on it in this window. Use the Exclamation mark above this window to show that you are looking for a game. Create a new room by typing into the 'New Game' box at the top of the active games window and press enter. File - New Game - Player 1 - Select any 3x3 map - Finish To Spawn a list, open your player window by clicking the appropriate yellow number at the top of the Vassal window. Click 'Spawn 2.0 squad' and paste a link from YASB or similar into the top window. The list will be automatically spawned for you after you click 'Spawn Squad from URL' Any other tokens or asteroids you may need can be found in the 'Pieces' tab next to the yellow player window numbers. 'Chits' will give you the asteroids and debris. 'Second edition' for all the spare tokens. You can also open the play board by clicking on 'map'.
