When Bentley introduced the Arnage in 1998 it was a bold step forward for the marque as it replaced its long standing predecessor, the Turbo R. In collaboration with BMW, Bentley equipped the early Arnage model with a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that delivered 354 bhp and a refined yet effortless driving experience. This engine, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, provided a smooth and effortless power delivery going on to make the Arnage a true grand tourer with an air of exclusivity. Though later models saw a return to Bentleys traditional 6.75-litre V8, these early 4.4-litre variants are now highly regarded for their balance of performance and efficiency.
