Support Me On Patreon!   / spencerpugh   The latest Bon Iver album 22, A Million hit me at a weird time. It was fall/winter of 2016 and I had recently started a new job. I would go on walks every morning to step away from my computer screen and the crisp, cold air mixed with this album struck a chord with me emotionally. I'm not sure how Bon Iver does it but even on an album as interesting and slightly absurd as 22, A Million, there is still that emotional and lonely tug at the heart. Being one of the more subtle and stripped down songs on the record, 29 #Strafford APTS cuts through the noise to create that quiet reflection needed on such a profound stage that 22, A Million sets. I loved this song from the start and always knew I would be covering it sooner or later. If you haven't heard the original yet, I would highly recommend it.
