And then my father, my younger brother, would share a room across from my room. And then Colt had his own room, like the smallest one." 03:16 "When it didn't have a bed in it, where would Colt sleep?" "When it didn't have a bed, he'd sleep in, like our like laundry room place." 06:25 "And did you ever go to do you remember going to the shooting range with Colin and Colt at some point?" "Yes." 07:13 "And how was Colt's relationship with Colin?" "Sometimes it would be good, sometimes it wouldn't." 08:10 "Did Colt ever damage anything in the house when he was mad?" "Yes." 09:58 "Did he ever just talk about getting called into therapy?" "Yes." 11:44 Texts 14:39 "And to your knowledge, did Colt ever get any kind of appointment like was being referenced there?" "No." 17:23 "Do you remember a point in time where Colt put pictures and newspaper articles of and about Nikolas Cruz on his wall?" "Yes, ma'am." 19:11 "did you go to school that day on September 4 of 24?" "Yes, ma'am." "And when did you first find out that something had happened at Apalachee High School?" "When we went in lockdown." 21:35 "Do you remember the next day, so September 5, going up to the tree house to get what was called a forensic interview?" "Who drove you to the tree house to get that interview?" "My father." "Okay, was he the only one in the car with you?" "Yes, ma'am." "Okay, when you're on your way in to get that interview, did Colin tell you anything about how you should answer those questions?" "Yes, ma'am." 22:19 "So he told me like, if they asked me anything you know about, if he knew that Cole had problems and that his problems would lead up to this, that I should basically try to cover for him." Background: A gunman killed two students and two teachers at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, on September 4, 2024. Eight students and one teacher were injured. The victims were Mason Schermerhorn, 14; Christian Angulo, 14; Richard Aspinwall, 39 and a math teacher and defensive coordinator for the school's football team; and Cristina Irimie, 53 and a math teacher. Colin Gray's oldest son, Colt Gray, is awaiting trial on 55 charges, including counts of murder and aggravated assault. The father currently is on trial for 29 charges, including involuntary manslaughter, second-degree murder, cruelty to children and reckless conduct. Prosecutors say he gave his son the rifle used in the shooting as a Christmas gift, despite being told by law enforcement to keep guns away from him. The jury was selected from Hall County instead of Barrow County because of extensive pretrial publicity in Barrow County. The trial is being held at the Barrow County Courthouse in Winder. Nicholas Primm, the chief judge in Georgia's Piedmont Judicial Circuit, is presiding. ****************************************************************************** Subscribe to Legal Affairs and Trials with Meghann Cuniff: https://www.legalaffairsandtrials.com...
