Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Alan 'Doc' Cotton spent 23 years of active duty service as a medic with four combat tours. After his final tour he returned home to his family, hoping life would return to normal. Instead, Doc found himself discovering a new way of life, living and coping with Chronic PTSD...until a friend introduced him to motorcycles. Fast forward 6 years, Doc races motorcycles and is the successful owner of 812 Suspension Design in Round Rock, TX. This is his story of triumph over his PTSD diagnosis and how motorcycles have not only helped him survive, but have helped him thrive.
