This short film provides a historical background of the creation of the USPHS, the eventual establishment of the Commissioned Corps, and the overall mission of the Service as it exists today. The four core values of the Service are highlighted alongside imagery of Officers in various duty settings, conveying both the broad impact and the diversity of the Commissioned Corps nationwide.
