We had Iftar in Istanbul for Free! 😱

Ramadan evenings in Istanbul have a very special atmosphere. In this video, we break our fast in the courtyard of the historic Süleymaniye Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. We prepared some homemade food, packed a mat, and brought everything with us to break our fast on the grass in the mosque courtyard, just like many other families and friends who had gathered there. As sunset approached, the courtyard slowly filled with people waiting for the call to prayer. Young men were playing football on the side, others were enjoying the breathtaking view overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, while tourists experienced the unique Ramadan atmosphere of Istanbul. Moments like these truly show the spirit of Ramadan — community, peace, and sharing a meal together in one of the most historic places in the city.
