Haptic Braille - Apple WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge

Haptic Braille is an app that I developed for the Apple WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge. It aims to assist individuals with visual impairments in learning braille by using haptics and sounds. With the help of the Taptic Engine, the app creates unique vibrations for each braille dot. These vibrations are combined with corresponding sounds to provide a tactile and auditory experience, making it easier for users to understand and recognize braille characters. The app also features a quiz section where users can test their braille knowledge by feeling the braille letters and guessing their correct characters. It was built using SwiftUI and Core Haptics, ensuring accessibility by supporting VoiceOver, and incorporates the AVSpeechSynthesizer for spoken feedback.
