From an album recorded over the Covid. Here's a bounce of a song wrote in response to the Legacy Bill they pushed through in Northern Ireland. They expect people to forgive and forget in the name of progress and peace offering criminals amnesty for truth yet they won't reveal their own criminality to be subject to the principles adhering to the bills proposal. For who's benefit is it really? Not the victims or their families. In fact it only alienates them. There are legitimate reasons in certain circumstances for living in the past in respect to the trauma created. That truth may be their only recompense and comfort for a future shared by all who have certainly felt left in a troubled history that cannot be put to sleep in one swift action by these bureaucratic hypocrites.
