👋 Today I check out the 2025 Hyundai Elantra N against my FL5 Honda Civic Type-R! Ever since I bought the new FL5 Type-R I've had multiple comments to see how it stacks up alongside the new Elantra N! The 2025 Hyundai Elantra N comes in around $34,300 starting price while the 2025 Honda Civic Type-R comes in around $45,900. So for $10,000 more, are you getting the value out of the Type-R? Overall the 2025 Elantra N is fantastic! Especially at its lower price point, it's a lot of car for the money. Powerful engine and great handling make it fun to hit the country roads in, and it had modern technology to be a great daily driver. The 2025 Elantra N offers both manual and automatic transmissions so it can appeal to a wide variety of buyers. The FL5 Civic Type-R does offer a ton more cargo space tho. The liftback nearly quadruples the cargo volume and makes it more practical for hauling items. The interior is a bit more simple, but not by much. Driving the Type-R, that's when you see why it costs $10k more. The manual transmission sis more notchy and the handling is honestly up a level! The increase in power is also very noticeable. I find the FL5 Type-R seems to crave being on a track or driven aggressively on a mountain road. To me it seems livable enough to be a daily driver too. So I think the Type-R is for sure a level up in performance and is more engaging and performance focused. But to save a huge chunk of money the Elantra N still offers a lot of performance while feeling much more reserved compared to the Type-R! If you are mainly looking at buying a Subaru WRX or a Honda Civic Si, I'd ditch both and buy the Elantra N for similar money. It's a great sporty sedan that is right in the middle in price but offer much more then the other low $30k sporty sedans. Can't quite touch the Type-R in performance, so they each seem to be priced well to match what they provide. I think the Elantra N is geared towards more price sensitive buyers who want a good bang for the buck. Type-R buyers don't seem to care how much it costs and simply want the top performance FWD hot hatch. Can't go wrong with either car! https://www.hyundaiusa.com/ 🤠 Check Out Our Website For Aftermarket Car Parts!!! https://brosfourrspeed.com/ Order Wheels and Tires From Fitment Industries: https://www.fitmentindustries.com/?am...
