You may need to reset a Wemo switch if you are moving out of a home to clear the personal information or if you are moving into a new home and want to connect the existing Wemo switch to your Wifi Network. On the bottom of the Wemo wifi light switch there is a small tab just below the light switch interface. To reset the Wemo switch you need to hold this tab down approximately 10 seconds until the Wemo light switch starts to blink red, once the Wemo light switch is blinking red you can then release the tab and the Wemo light switch will reset and when the light switch begins blinking blue again you will know that the light switch has fully reset and can will then default to pairing mode so that it can be setup on the Wemo App. If you are having trouble getting your Wemo switch to connect to the Wemo app or getting Wemo connected to wifi make sure that you are connecting your Wemo light switch to your 2.4GHZ network as Wemo will not connect 5GHZ networks.
