데님 원단 직조 과정 Denim weaving process

안녕하세요 졸업 작품으로 데님 직조와 카우보이 콘셉트로 미니 컬렉션을 만들었습니다. 청바지와 카우보이는 떼려야 뗄 수 없는 주제이죠. 청바지를 원단부터 짜서 만들어 보고 싶었습니다. 학교를 다니면서 배운 패턴, 봉제, 염색, 직조, 같은 여러 기술들을 한 번에 모아 마지막 작품을 만들었습니다. 직기를 세팅하면서 1300개 이상의 실을 하나하나 꿰었습니다. 직기 세팅하는데 1달, 천 4.5야드 짜는 데 두 달 걸렸네요. 인디고 염색은 6번 반복된 염색 과정을 통해서 나왔습니다. 완성된 바지는 인스타그램에 올려놨습니다.   / cdy__egugw0   Hello, This is a process video of my thesis project. My thesis is a mini menswear collection using custom hand-woven denim and functional fabrics. My collection is a combination of craft and new technology in textile taking inspiration from western cowboy style, activewear, and classic jean brands such as Levi’s, Lee, and Wrangler. The main design elements for this collection are curved lines, decorative spots, jewels, and studs paying homage. This project includes processes of warping, setting up a loom, weaving, natural dyeing, fashion design, pattern drafting, sample making, sourcing materials, photography, videography, and finished garment making.
